Sunday
This piece is a scene inspired by Stephen Sondheim’s musical Sunday in the Park with George. Specifically, It’s about the modern George’s wife Elaine goes to his grave on a Sunday and step by step realizes how much she actually loved him. Every detail of the scene is created by myself—music, lyrics, orchestration, script, lighting, set. The piece is written for a female voice and a chamber orchestra.

Un Sac de Billes (A Bag of Marbles)
This is a piece written for violin and piano, inspired by a French novel called Un Sac de Billes.
It is a story about two young, Jewish brothers who had to flee their home, Paris due to the Second World War. After pushing away lots of obstacles, they finally made their way to a safe city in France. At the end, they returned to Paris after the war ended, but sadly realized that their father was captured and killed by the Nazi German when they were away. The piece includes four short movements.

This is a piece written for a small chamber orchestra, inspired by the last scene of the Phantom of the Opera. To the right is the midi file combined with the scene.
Misty Forest
Misty forest is a piece written for a string quartet, with one of the violins replaced by a string bass. This piece intended to capture the feeling of walking in to a misty forest, experiencing an adventure, and leaving the forest.
